Whether you live within or outside our catchment area, we would be delighted to welcome you. An increasing number of children are joining us from outside the catchment, so we encourage all families considering Mornington to come and see what our school has to offer.

Applications for admission to other year groups will be considered in relation to the published admission number (PAN). If places are available within the year group, applications will be considered in accordance with the current published admission criteria for admission to the school. If places are available, the child will normally be admitted to the school.
You may wish to move your child to our school within a school year. This is possible, subject to available places. You must apply directly to the school using the in year application form below. Once the transfer has been agreed by both schools, providing there is space in the year group applied for, then a start date is decided and a transition process begins. This is normally within 15 school days of application.
If you would like to visit our school, please contact the office to arrange an appointment by email office@morningtonprimary.org or calling 0115 9757745.
Parents have the right to an independent appeals panel if they are not happy with the outcome of their application.
The school recognises its responsibility to fulfil its statutory duties under the admission code and will participate in the local area protocol.
